Crawford Beach Story
The Crawford Beach House is a three bedroom summer vacation rental in Murray Corner, New Brunswick with a wonderful family story behind it:
The Crawford Beach House, located in Murray Corner, New Brunswick on the Northumberland Strait was built in the early 1900’s by Ernest Crawford for his family. Ernest and Ruth Crawford lived happily in this home until they passed it, along with the property, on to their two sons, Stanley and Norval (Bud). At this point in their lives Stanley and Bud had homes and families of their own so they decided to use the property as a family cottage so that the whole Crawford Clan could gather and get together each summer to enjoy nature, the beach, and one another.
Between the two sons, Stanley and his wife Rosella, Bud and his wife Jean, they had nine children, 19 grandchildren, and countless great-grandchildren (as of 2019 there are 25 great-grandchildren!!).
We still continue, to this day, to the gather at the beach in the summertime to slow down and take a break from our busy lives, to watch our children and grandchildren play together and develop a deep love and respect for nature, and to enjoy the company of others. We are so thrilled to enjoy this incredible place on earth each year and wish to share this historic and nostalgic home and property with others!
